Hours: Full-time (37 hour per week) – some Saturday working required

As a Supervised Contact Centre Facilitator, you will oversee sessions for children and their parents to have time together, supervised at all times. You will ensure that families are welcomed and supported when they attend. An open-minded, flexible and caring approach towards parents and children is required. You will ensure that children are kept safe and that their emotional wellbeing is prioritised at all times.

Main Responsibilities:
• Support the delivery of safe and effective supervised contact sessions.
• Assess the quality of parenting observed during the supervised contact and use this evidence to complete reports as required by the Court or social worker.
• Recognise any risk of harm and intervene appropriately to reduce risks or bring in additional support as required, to safeguard the child/ren.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Educated to level three or above with a recognised professional qualification in social work, health, education or equivalent.
• full driving licence and business insurance.
• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Children’s Barred List.
