Salary: Grade 4 Point 34-38: £42,140 - £46,240 FTE per annum (£33,712.00 - £36,992.00 per annum, pro rata)
- Additionally, £480 home-based allowance FTE per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to lead of LifeSkills service as the programme develops. The Operational Manager will provide strategic and operational management to our 2 LifeSkills services, LifeSkills Open and LifeSkills Intensive.
LifeSkills supports individuals and families to build their confidence, social networks, financial and employability skills. This service is funded by our corporate partnership with Barclays.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, management and supervision to LifeSkills services that provide group work support and 1-1 support to adults and their wider families
• Ensure the service is of good quality and that its impact is demonstrated and understood.
• Support the integration of the LifeSkills services into wider Family Action services so that more families can benefit from this programme.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Experience of providing effective management, leadership and safeguarding oversight of case work based and group work based support services, which overall improve the lives of their service users.
• Experience of setting up and/or managing innovative projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence and ability to present and communicate information effectively both in person and in a range of mediums to internal and external stakeholders, including children and young people, parents and carers, and funders.
• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service –Enhanced
