Due to contract extension we are looking for 2 Community Development Officers to join our friendly and supportive team. The role is home based for the completion of administrative tasks but the majority of the work will be community based in either Noth and South Kesteven or Boston and South Holland. We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative team player, who is solution focused and passionate about making a difference.

Your impact
In this role you will:
• Engage and support families as well as gathering and sharing their views with key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies, which fosters trust and collaboration between communities, organisations, and the Local Authority.
• Deliver task and finish groups ensuring that community needs are identified and effectively addressed in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Local Authority and key stakeholders to provide continued support and resources for community initiatives.
• Ensure that all voices are heard, which promotes inclusivity and ensures that diverse perspectives are considered in decision-making.
• Produce and deliver presentations on engagement efforts to help inform future initiatives based on real insights and outcomes.
• Produce robust outreach plans to increase community participation and coproduction

Your skills
We are looking for someone who has:
• Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or a similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong ability to work with diverse communities and stakeholders.
• The ability to develop and deliver robust outreach plans.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
