An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outreach Worker to join the team at Wythenshawe Children’s Centres and Family Hub. We want an individual who is passionate about supporting our aim to make a positive difference and improve outcomes for children, young people and families living in Wythenshawe.
Main Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who is experienced in engaging and working with parents and children in individual and group work. This role will be an Early Years Case Work Lead, and will include leading on our Parental Aspirations/Parenting offer and other targeted interventions as required.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Educated to level three or above with a recognised professional qualification in social work, health, education or equivalent, or demonstrable experience in these fields of work, and evidence of a commitment to continued learning and professional development.
• Experience of working with children and families in clients home and/or community venues, in groups and/or 1:1
• Excellent assessment skills, with the ability to produce effective outcome-focused plans for families with complex needs, and to monitor, review and evaluate these.
