Family Action and the role of Quality, Performance and Business Manager
At Family Action we support people through change, challenge or crisis. It’s what we’ve done for over 150 years. We protect children, support young people and adults and offer direct, practical help to families and communities.
We see first-hand the power of family to shape lives, for better or worse, so we speak up for the importance of family in national and local policymaking, amplify family voices and represent the changing needs of families in the UK today.
We are also delighted to support families in the Isle of Man through the delivery of a Family Support Service and Supervised Contact Centre. An exciting opportunity now exists for someone to join us to work across and support both services as Quality, Performance and Business Manager. This post is a pivotal member of the management team and a key role for continuing our high quality service offer. The role is varied, encompassing client facing aspects and internal office management. The postholder will establish and maintain excellent systems, methods of analysis and processes that will support an understanding of all areas of practice and performance across both services. A focus of the role will be collating and analysing a range of insights that support managers to maintain high quality practice and know that the support provided to staff and families is effective and safe.
To find out more about the role and what we’re looking for please take a look at the job description and person specification for this role.
We believe in ‘growing our own’. This means that even if you don’t meet all of the requirements of the Person Specification but can comfortably meet about 70% of the criteria and you’re willing to work hard to learn the rest, we will invest in you and help you to get there.
We’re really interested in your potential and your commitment to children and families, so please do think seriously about joining us if you share our values and our enthusiasm for what we do.
