Floating Pre-school Assistant (set timetable)
Service: Peterborough Pre-schools
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location: Peterborough, working across five settings. One timetabled per each day of the week.
Hours: 18 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (part time, term time only)
Contract: Permanent, Term time only

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work across all five of our pre-schools in Peterborough providing support to enable senior team members extra time out of ratio to complete admin tasks. If you enjoy meeting new people, are passionate about supporting young children to learn and develop through play and an independent car driver then this role could be for you.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be providing support as a pre-school assistant at each of our five early years settings. Your 18 hours will be divided across five days a week and a timetable will be agreed that ensures that each day is spent at a different location.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• You will hold an early years and childcare qualification at a minimum of level 2.
• You will be an energetic, self-motivated and innovative individual.
• You will hold a full driving licence and have daily access to a vehicle with proof available of MOT, tax and suitable insurance.
• Good written skills.
• You will have experience working with young children, including with supporting children with additional needs.
• You will have experience of following best safeguarding practice.
• Ability to be flexible when required to change work schedules.
• Ability to build positive relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively.
