Salary: Grade 2 Point 16-19: £24,971 - £27,504 FTE per annum.

You will play a key role in supporting the day–to–day delivery of the C&FC services, though community and stakeholder engagement to facilitating and delivering our universal provision, including the community cafe and having a presence in our C&F Centers that open 8.30am - 6pm.
As a community engagement worker, you will support the creation of innovative Gloucestershire Family Hubs—community-rooted centres offering universal services and tailored support to families, children, and young people across Stroud and Cotswolds.
1. Main Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Build partnerships with families, community groups, voluntary and statutory services (e.g., schools, health, businesses).
Map local assets, identify service gaps, and liaise with community and parent forums to align support.
You’ll help shape and launch community-led Family Hubs across Stroud and the Cotswolds, enabling neighbourhood-level support
Your work will connect families to vital services, bridge gaps, and foster local resilience through multi-agency collaboration.
2. Service Development & Delivery
Help design and deliver universal, open-access services (e.g., Stay & Play, Drop-ins, community cafe) at centres and community venues.
Support Universal Provision and wider operational needs implementation, staffing, and outreach events.
Work with a bank of volunteers to who will support with the universal provision and open access services.
3. Coordination, Administration & Reporting
Support digital/telephone-based service delivery, including troubleshooting.
Assist with planning, monitoring, reviewing service development, and producing monthly summaries.
Create promotional materials and represent the centres at partnership meetings.
4. Safeguarding & Professional Standards
Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Participate in supervision and appraisal; drive your own development.

• Experience relevant for your effectiveness in the role might be from various sectors and disciplines: Youth Work, Teaching, Community Engagement, Early Years The list is not exclusive and if you are passionate about Communities, Children and Families we would still like to hear from you, even if you do not have experience in any of the listed sectors.
