Service: Cumberland Young Carers & Parent Carers Service

Salary: £24,449 FTE per annum (£14,669 per annum for 22.2 hours per week)

Location: Family Hubs across Cumberland - CA2, CA6, CA7, CA15, CA28

Hours: Up to 22.2 hours per week (part-time)

Family Action offer support for carers – along with their families – living in Cumberland. We aim to provide support for young carers (aged 18 and below) and parent carers (a parent or other primary caregiver who provides ongoing, substantial support and care to a child or young person with additional needs).
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and efficient Administrator to provide administrative support to Family Action across Cumberland, with responsibilities for outcome and impact monitoring systems.

Main Responsibilities:
- Processing referrals – supporting triage process and contact with families
- Providing data for quarterly monitoring reports to demonstrate impact of service
- Management of any funded opportunities/grants within the service – compiling records & purchasing breaks
- Management of office functions including finance and health and safety
- Being a positive and welcoming presence in the office base and when communicating with families

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
- NVQ Level 3 Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of office systems and procedures
- Be confident in the use of Windows and Microsoft packages and be efficient in both navigating, inputting and reporting data base information
- Organisational and time management skills
- Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced level of check
